The complete main floor of The Shuey
House is available for your use, as well as the expansive lawn
and gardens. Main floor rooms include the grand foyer, spacious
living room, elegant dining room, large "chef's kitchen" with
additional side room, and separate bar off kitchen.

Fountain and Front Courtyard

Furniture can be re-situated or removed to accomodate your needs. The large table seats up to 12 for a sit-down dinner,
or can be set up for buffet use. When the fireplace is lit,
this makes for a very cozy, and warm atmosphere. This wonderful, large kitchen is ideal for caterering events.
There is a six-burner Viking range, double convection ovens,
large warming drawer, Sub-zero 48" refrigerator, and two
dishwashers. The long granite counter top is ideal for a more
casual buffet. Just to the side of the kitchen, this smaller gathering space
is a nice place for guests to mingle while watching the food
being prepared. A smaller kitchen table is perfect
for setting out appetizers. Just off the kitchen, the bar is great for serving drinks
just before guests head out the French doors onto the
veranda. With a 36 bottle wine cooler, ice-machine,
bar sink, second dishwasher, and mini-fridge,
your bartenders won't be missing a thing. Large, flat lawn with plenty of room for croquet.
Gatherings outside can be held under tents or open air. Just inside the front gate is a lovely courtyard with fountain. The big "Southern-Style" front porch has room for everyone.
Comfortable wrought-iron furniture accomodates those guests
looking to relax outside.
