Are you looking for an elegant venue to host a small party? 

The Shuey House is the perfect place to entertain your guests.

 

With it's spacious, elegant rooms, The Shuey House is an ideal location to host a reception, cocktail or dinner party, bridal shower, birthday/anniversary or holiday party, or even a small corporate event. Our affordable, hourly rates make The Shuey House a great solution for any party budget.

 

Whether you use your own caterer...or do your own cooking...it's up to you. If you need help with the planning, we have an event coordinator and a list of preferred vendors and caterers that can work with you to create the perfect event, within your budget. Either way, it's like hosting a party in your own private and elegant home, where you create the event YOU want. One your friends, family, or co-workers will remember.

 

Recommended guest size of 70 guests for standing party (with some limited seating), and 30 guests for sit-down dinner.

 

 

RATES:

  • $100/hour (includes all pre-event set up time, and post-event cleanup time). Minimum 5 hours.

  • $75/hour mid-week (minimum 3 hours).

RENTAL INCLUDES:

  • Main floor of home with formal rooms including baby grand piano

  • Banquet table or 7 bistro tables with seating up to 20. (Additional tables/chairs can be rented)

  • Large kitchen set up for catering/cooking with professional appliances and food storage

  • Bar area with ice machine, sink, 36 bottle wine cooler and mini-fridge.

  • Guest powder room.

  • Outside gardens and lawn and seasonal outdoor seating on porches and deck.

  • Limited amount of serving platters, chafing dish, etc (please ask for list).

YOU PROVIDE

  • Catering or your own food. Kitchen is available for your use.

  • Rental of all dishes, stemware, silverware, and additional tables/seating as needed.

  • Servers or bartenders as needed.

  • Entertainment (prior approval required).

  • All post event cleanup (house is to be left in same condition as when you arrived).

DEPOSIT

  • $500 deposit (check or credit card) is required to secure your reservation. WE CANNOT HOLD DATES WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. Deposit is applied towards your total fee.

  • Credit card authorization for damage deposit (no charge unless damage occurs).

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations made 30 days prior are fully refundable. After 30 days, deposit is forfeited.
